FRENCH CREEK PARK -- JULY 27
Today we went to French Creek State Park. We ate breakfast when we got to the park. After breakfast we broke up into two groups of ten and did two hiking trails. One of the groups went to the National Hopewell Park and watched the park rangers make caste iron stoves. After the two hikes, we all went swimming and had lunch. For lunch we had pizza or hotdogs with chips and drink. Some of us also went Canoeing or Kayaking. It was a lot of fun. After the pool, we left and went to Hibachi. The food was really good; there were also a lot of options. We came back to the dorm and made aprons for our cooking session on Tuesday. Then we watched a movie.
STEM, SPORTS AND MUSIC -- JULY 26 BY Kaianna, Amiah, Cierra A., Jannah and Ms. Paige
Today we woke up and had breakfast and the went to class. In class we made ice cream and took the DNA out of a strawberry and pinaeapple. The ice cream was normally made for 2000 people so we had to make it a serving of two people. We had to have the exact measurement of the ingredients or it would have turned out wrong. We also went to the gym where some people played football and others jumped rope. We also had clubs then went to dinner. After dinner we went to the Chester Children’s Chorus and they did a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. and Stevie Wonder.
