SESSION TWO BEGINS -- WELCOME CAMPERS!!! -- DAY 1 -- JULY 22

Today was our first full day at camp! We were up bright and early ready to start the day. We all went to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. After breakfast we went to STEM instruction, where we focused on math and science. We learned to count the amount of objects in a container by weighing and measuring. In the afternoon we had lunch and then participated in language arts and wrote a paragraph about different topics. Then we went to the gym where we participated in different athletic activities including; Zumba, basketball, football, and walking around the track. Once athletics was over we went back to the classroom and discussed camp rules in our reading groups. From there we went to dinner then we split up into our club groups. Everyone was excited to see where they would be whether is was art, robotics, choir, and debate. When we got back to the dorm we showered and got ready for bed. Lastly, we ended our day with reading in our book club groups. We are extremely excited about what tomorrow will bring!

    So great to read about what you're up to and see all the pix. Sounds like you're having a fabulous time. Keep up the good work! We saw you playing football in the yard today when we were driving by. We love you and miss you but are thrilled you have this opportunity,
